Checking for Gas Leaks

If you believe you have a leak on your propane tank or the gas line you can check yourself prior to calling a service tech. This is a safe method using only soap and water. You can place some water and dish soap into a small spray bottle and spray your fittings or place the soapy water in a cup and using a small paint brush just brush the liquid over the fittings. If you have a leak you will notice the soapy substance creating bubbles at the fitting. If you find you have a leak then please contact Heintz's Propane for further assistance. Do keep in mind that a small seeping leak at a fitting is not cause for alarm.
